Brian Gerber
Producer

Brian joined Tree Media Group in August of 2000. Since then, he has produced Matthew Buzzell's acclaimed music shorts series Alone Together available on Warner Brothers 'Circuit' DVD, Jay Gibson's Intersection, and several web projects including the Gorbachev Tribute and Foreign Affairs Magazine. Brian is currently producing Nadia Conners' feature film debut Earthquake Weather, Matt Luem and Greg Fiering's documentary Here Comes Greatness, and Jimmy Scott: If You Only Knew by Matthew Buzzell.

Brian recently wrapped production on Bug by Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay as well as Zev Berman's Briar Patch for Tonic Films and Down Home Entertainment.

Brian works with new and established talent to create, develop and nurture material and move projects into production.

Before joining Tree Media Group, Brian spent four years as Director of Development at Alphaville, a feature film production company at Paramount Pictures. Films released during that time include The Mummy, A Simple Plan, Michael, The Jackal, Freedom Song, Down To Earth, Lucky Numbers, Rat Race, Pootie Tang, Attila, Mummy Returns and The Gift.

Brian received his Masters of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute in 1997. Prior to that, he received his ABJ from the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia in 1994, where he served as a student judge for the George Foster Peabody Awards and was an Editor for The Red & Black daily newspaper.
