Harold has been writing, producing, and directing educational media on critical environmental and social issues for the last 15 years.  He has created and led projects for United Nations, Doctors Without Borders, the Peace Corps, Greenpeace, Forest Ethics, and Rainforest Action Network. Previous projects include: the award winning computer animated kids rainforest DVD Forest Family Forever!, the hyper-reality childrens PBS science series DragonflyTV, Morgan Supersize Me Spurlocks enlightened reality series 30 Days, and the Public Service Announcements series for the Tree-Free Paper Campaign with musicians R.E.M., and Sundance Channels Green series Big Ideas for a Small Planet.

Harold lived in Central and East African and South Asia for extended periods including Rwanda for 2 1/2 years where he created a troupe of traveling performers to spread human rights messages across the rural, post-genocidal landscape.  He was a non-violent action climber and trainer involved in such operations as anti-WTO Battle of Seattle.

Harold is currently developing a short-format, web-based action/adventure series about a band of daring rebel activists based on his experience as a climber and trainer for Rainforest Action Network, the Ruckus Society, and Greenpeace.
