COMPANYTEAMRichard Dent Richard Dent is co-director of the 11th Hour Action campaign. He joined Tree Media through Global Green USA in Spring 2007 initially as an intern whilst on university exchange at UCLA. He produced Leonardo DiCaprio's Myspace page before becoming the full time producer of 11thhouraction.com. In 2004, Richard worked directly with Permaculture founder David Holmgren and other high level sustainability advocates on electronic media to help 'mainstream sustainability'. Richard spent many years working on organic farms and gardens getting hands on experience traveling California, Australia, New Zealand and UK. Richard was born and raised in the UK. His background in new media comes from his involvement in the London based Piratetv.net project and VJAMM video software during the mid to late 90s. He used state of the art and custom software to produce and perform video art promoting the environment at music venues and online. A project of UK's Coldcut, piratetv.net was the longest running internet TV channel in the 1990s. Richard also created and produces thegreenreporter.com. Richard holds a degree in Political Science from University of Auckland.
