JACQUES ATTALI

President, PlaNet Finance

Dr. Attali is chairman of Attali et Associes, an international consulting firm based in Paris and of PlaNet Finance, a new international non profit institution using Internet for development of poor countries. Recently, Dr. Attali also served as conseiller d'Etat, in Paris, and has advised the United Nations General Secretary on nuclear proliferation. From May 21, 1981 to April 15, 1991, he served as special advisor to the President of the French Republic, Francois Mitterrand, after which he founded in 1990 and was the first president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London.


JAMES WRIGHT CONNERS

James Wright Conners is a strategic consultant for Tree Media Group and the father of the founders. Conners worked for 40 years in business management, in companies such as Dow Chemical, Morton Salt, Allied Chemical and Unocal. He is currently Assessor for the Town of Chatham in New York State. He received his MBA from Harvard in 1954 and his degree in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin in 1950. He served in the US Navy in World War II.

Pat Mitchell is president the Public Broadcasting System (PBS); having recently moved to PBS from CNN. At CNN, she was President of CNN Productions where she commissioned and executive produced, programming that has won more than 100 major awards, including 41 Emmys, seven Peabodys and 35 CableAce awards. Among those award-winning programs are the groundbreaking 24-hour series, Cold War; a six-hour documentary on the history of women, A Century of Women; and the Oscar-nominated Hank Aaron: Chasing the Dream.
