The Colors Of Birth

Tree Media has completed a 60-minute film on labor and birth entitled The Colors of Birth. Mathew Schmid and Leila Conners produced and directed. To Give Birth is a long-time goal of Lisa Hanes, a midwife; whose aim is to help pregnant couples better understand the process of labor and the choices women face. The film is executive produced by Lisa and her husband, Jim McCloskey and features Dr. Paul Crane OBGYN, Lisa Hanes, CNM, Debra Frank, CNM, and 15 couples who share their birth experiences. The film will be completed in October and will be available on DVD, iTunes and online. The The Colors of Birth website will feature education around the topics of pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
